Your daily job and responsibilities

  1. Create testing automation including scenarios for BE and FE parts of the system, including E2E and performance tests

  2. Continuously update, maintain and run automated tests

  3. Report bugs and track solution status

  4. Preparing and managing test data 

  5. Providing internal and external support

Juraj Stovíček

Juraj is the Quality & Customer Support Lead in MAKERS. He is trying to break the new versions of software solutions in a controlled manner before it gets released to the production environments. 

 

The Quality and Support Team is responsible for the quality of a new release right before it gets deployed to the production, provides internal (colleagues) and external (customers) support and configures and maintains testing and production environments.

Relevant skills, knowledge and experience

  • MUST HAVE 

    • Experience with E2E solution testing (not just front end part)

    • Ability to work with ticket system to record bugs and track status

    • Eagerness to learn new things

    • Patience and to be communicative

    • Curiosity to learn from developers how IT systems and processes work

​

  • COULD HAVE 

    • Ability to create testing automation from scratch

    • Familiarity with Gitlab

    • Ability to explain complex processes in a simple high level language to non-IT people in both spoken and written manner

    • Experience with Postman

  • NICE TO HAVE

    • Analytical thinking and the ability to find business value for the customers 

    • Experience in energy industry

    • Experience with IoT systems

    • Internal support experience
