    MAKERS product, create and operate our own solution for our customers in the cloud and on-prem.

  • Energy Distribution / Austria
    development and integration services in the area of energy management and SmartGrid. Tasks related to connecting different sources of energy into the IoT network and control them in an optimal way.

​

  • Industrial Automation, Residential / Slovakia
    development and integration services related to energy consumption measurements. Tasks to create automatic measurements of energies and prepare technical reports for billing.

Your daily job and responsibilities

  1. Estimate efforts needed for feature development, deployment, and maintenance.

  2. Development of drivers for different kinds of protocols and devices, data transformation between multiple protocols.

  3. Final integration of developed drivers and transformations into functional solutions enabling communication from devices and external services to cloud and back.

  4. Using IoT platforms: 

    • to connect devices with the cloud 

    • to create a visualization of the devices datastream for users 

    • to create rules for datastream in the cloud and at the edge devices in order to bring the added value of devices and cloud interconnection

Relevant skills, knowledge and experience

  • MUST HAVE 

    • Experience with HTTP, Websocket, MQTT transport protocols

    • Experience with Python (2 years)​

      • Django is preffered

      • following programming languages are advantage (Javascript, Lua)

    • Experience with data formats like JSON, XML

    • Experience with Linux system (Ubuntu/Debian) 

    • Software Engineering processes and best practices

  • SHOULD HAVE 

    • Experience with protocols usually used in industrial and facility environments (Modbus, Mbus, Zigbee, Bluetooth, Lorawan)

    • Experience with databases (Relational/Columnar/Non-relational - Postgres, Cassandra)

    • Experience with API ala REST, GraphQL a WebSockets

    • Experience with SCM (git)

    • Knowledge of IoT platform architecture (eg: Thingsboard, AWS or other cloud IoT solutions) 

    • Knowledge of IoT platforms functionality (e.g. Thingsboard is an advantage)

    • Knowledge of microservice architecture and principles

    • Experience with

      • estimating software engineering tasks

      • requirements definitions process

    • Technical English ​reading

  • NICE TO HAVE

    • Knowledge or experience with Energy Management Systems

    • Knowledge or experience with Smart Building technologies

    • Knowledge of microservice architecture and principles
