Your daily job and responsibilities

  1. You will design, develop frontend application architecture and develop software solutions to complex problems across the software stack with your Human Machine Interface (HMI) team using modern technologies.

  2. Contribute and follow a roadmap for feature development to support the growing needs of the software portfolio.

  3. Work closely with system engineering, and software engineers to prioritize daily tasking of the HMI team. 

  4. Help manage and maintain software development processes and engineer experience that improve the productivity of the team. Improve software delivery and operation by systematic analysis and recommend changes in the solution & engineering plan.

  5. You will work to ensure delivery and development consistent with software engineering processes & best practices.

  6. Prepare effort estimations together with team members needed for feature development, deployment, and maintainability.

  7. Share knowledge with the team in areas that you excel at/studied, and oversee the growth & development of your HMI team.

Dávid is Chief Software Lead in MAKERS and one of the co-owners. He is a big fan of CNCF/cloud technologies and is active in multiple technology meetups (such an IoT Bratislava, Kubernetes, etc.).

The Frontend team is responsible for designing (UX/UI), architecting and implementing and maintaining of all our human interfaced application for the multitude of our customers.

Relevant skills, knowledge and experience

  • MUST HAVE

    • 5+ years of experience in Front end development including web and mobile applications.

    • Experience designing and implementing multiple FE applications in React successfully running in the world.

    • JS/TypeScript language knowledge and active experience

    • Ability to translate understand business or product requirements and translate them into technical requirements, decompose them into issues, develop validation and verification test scenarios,

    • Working together with other software engineering teams to design the application architecture for long-term development.

    • Ability to work independently, problem-solving and team player approach for any challenges.

  • SHOULD HAVE 

    • Experience with UX/UI design or wireframes techniques

    • Geospatial (Map) visualization experience, interactive map widgets and visualizing data for the end users.

    • Experience with data visualization frameworks to show data in interactive customized graphs. (Recharts.js, D3.js or similar)

    • Working knowledge of HTTP/REST/Websocket technology, OpenAPI specifications.

    • Working understanding of git and ability to utilize git in day-to-day operations.

    • Track record of performance optimizations and improvements of FE application to provide better user experience.

    • Securing applications from unauthorized access via industry standard technologies (OAuth, JWT authentication and session management)

    • Microservice architecture approach and principles.

    • Enthusiasm to learn new technologies and evaluate new design concepts (i.e Technology Radar)

  • NICE TO HAVE

    • GraphQL as extension to REST APIs.

    • Experience using Flutter in application development.

    • Domain knowledge of Energy based applications and requirements
